Oxymoron-ness

There are many shows nowadays which shows the paradoxical events in life. I am currently watching 2 of them, 1 of them i only catched it just now...

Pushing Daisies
Yes.. the name sounds girly but the story is kinda nice. This guy name Ned have the ability to make people come back from the dead for 1 minute by touching them. If the person is not touched again within that one minute, the person will continue living, but other person nearby would die. So what does he do with his ability? he wakes up the dead, ask who kills them, catch the bad guy and take the money. :D

It's paradoxical in a sense that it makes death less scary and inject a sense of humour in it. And also, Ned brought back his first love to life and now he cannot touch her or else she's going to die.. forever.. so they kiss using... hmm.. let's seee.. see through plastic wrapping paper.. yeah.. that's it.. they kiss with wrapping paper as their barrier. :D

A living man, with, a supposedly dead but living girl..

Reaper
Now i just catched this show just now... and IT'S AWESOME.. meng, dump your Grey's Anatomy and watch this.. XD.. seriously, the storyline is so cool.. So.. the main actor.. forgot his name.. his soul, is sold to the devil, by his parents. They initially do that to save the dad la.. so the condition is that the dad gets well, but when the child is 21 years old, he has to work for the devil..

So this poor child, don't know anything about the deal until when he's 21 and the devil actually came and find him. Oh is this devil handsome.. haha.. he's... smart, wearing a suit.. and what this devil wants the main actor to do is to bring back souls which have escaped from hell. some of the things the devil says really makes me think

he says hell is getting overcrowded, and that is why the problem of souls running away is rampant now..
hmm.. overcrowded, what does it say about humanity now? is it trying to pass a message?

by bringing back souls into hell, the main actor is, according to the devil, doing a good job by putting them in their place.. the soul that escaped today is a nasty soul la.. i don't know about upcoming episodes.. hmm.. if there are souls which repent.. i wonder what happens then?

"God always wins".. yeah.. that's what he said..

So now u have a devil, which wants to bring back souls which are already sentenced to hell because they cause harm to humans.. so is this devil in God's service? Makes you think twice doesn't it? oh no.. am i talking like Dr. Ng?

It's really good, it challenges my beliefs and it puts devil in a more humanistic way.. anyway.. i agree with what the devil says.. "God always wins".. don't worry ok.. i still believe in God

God Bless~

The commentator gets kinda irritating after a while.. but the story line is quite simple right? raise the dead, ask questions, and make them dead again. :)

God Bless~
