I am sure when you were young, you wondered where u came from. or where babies came from. Ultimately, you would ask your parents "where do i come from?" or "where do babies come from?" it's hilarious what they tell us... or what we believe then, when we were young. Whatever version they made us believe, it's never the truth.. hahaha.. until u eventually find out when u are a little older.. so what are some of the beliefs that we have of babies when we were young? I asked some of my friends and this are their answers
Where do babies come from? i shall start with my answer first because i thought that my answer would be the most common one, but apparently not so lor.. i also don't know y..
Mr. T: Babies come out from the stomach. I really believed that ok.. until when i was.. don't know how old.. haaha
Person A: I thought that babies come out from asshole. hahaha..
Person B: I once asked my parents where i came from. They answered me 'tong sampah' (rubbish bin) XD XD. They told me that one day they just saw me at this rubbish bin and decided to brought me home.. hahaha
Person C: this would be the best answer. Person C thought that babies are brought from supermarkets and are placed inside plastic bags. Reason? Because there was once the uncle came back from supermarket and was carrying a few plastic bags, and Person C asked what is that. The uncle replied "baby" =.=!!!
Funny stories how all our parents can lie to us or what hilarious story we can be made to believe. Anyhow, what should i answer to my children next time if they asked me where they come from? Should i say i downloaded them from the internet? or bought them from e-bay or Amazon? XD XD.. ROFL
what is your story?

Long Lost Friends
Yesterday i wanted to blog about this friend of mine whom i 'terserempak' (bumped into) but when i came home from work, forgotten about it already.. so i shall blog today. :D
So yesterday morning when i was on my way to work, i went up a bus and i walked behind to sit. so walk to the behind, someone called out to me "Terence". i turned and saw an Indian girl, and yes.. she was calling me.. for a moment there.. i am trying my VERY BEST to recall who this female is..
and it came naturally to me.. *thank God.. or else i would be so embarrased* "Magesh" i replied.. yes.. her name is Mageshini and she was in the same secondary school as i was. She didn't really changed much, just that.... her image is like way way behind my brain.. XD
so i sat beside her and we started to update each other about our lives, and about our friends life. She talked about her current job and how she is going to join HELP soon.. she's gonna take foundation.. i talked to her about my job now and about HELP's life.. i updated her on the things i know about friends around us..
and all throughout the journey, we did not stopped talking.. it's like.. we got so much to talked about and the years that we had not seen each other (2 and a half years i think) did not create any gap. it's really a good feeling meeting someone and having chats as if we had never been apart.. :)
Besides that, today when i came back and checked my mail.. i got a new message on my friendster which i don't know the person. So i checked the message and got to know that it's from Lim Kuan Lun.. whoah.. this person is even longer.. let's see.. about... 8 years?? ahahahaha..
he's doing nursing now in Nilai and yes.. he managed to find me... :p the power of technology?? ahahaha.. whatever it might be.. it is always good to be connected once again.
Yay.. going to Penang tomorrow.. gyahaha

Handbags
o.O... what's a guy going to blog about handbags? hahaha
Now today i read an article in the star by Dzof Azmi where he talks about handbags and snatch thief. So he started by a question asked by his friends "How ah can we prevent snatch thief?" And that, i think is an interesting question, but of course, the more interesting part is the answer.
He came up with a few answers. The first being increasing the number of policeman on patrol. These law enforcing figure would instill fear on the thieves and thus, less incidents would happen. But i think we have a lack of law enforcers right? and these policemen have better things to do (like controlling street protest and capturing *cough cough* Anwar). so well, this idea does not really fit in.
So, comes the second idea, which is to have handbags that are easily ripped off once there is a struggle. The idea of this is that the person's safety is of utmost important and the handbag? well it goes to the thief la, as long as the person is safe, that's the end of the story. But then, this idea does not curb or lessen snatch thief does it? on the contrary, it might increase the number of snatch thief cause handbags are so easy to be snatched..
then comes the third solution which he (and i) thinks that it's the BEST. DON'T CARRY A HANDBAG. Simple right? if u don't carry a handbag, then there will be no handbags to be snatched. If really, all Malaysian were to practice this, I would be quite confident that the incident of snatch thief will be reduce to nil. But if females don't carry handbags, the question comes then, where do they put their purse(s). Well they can use smaller ones and keep it in their pocket, like how men do. :D
Now we come to the multi million question.. Jeng Jeng Jeng.. then where do they put their lipstick, mascara, eyeliners, moisturiser, blackhead removing sandpaper etc. etc.?? and to this question, Azmi replied that "Listen, if Man figured out a way to compress all of the world's knowledge into a chip made of sand measuring a mere one micron thick, then making a smaller powder applicator can't be beyong his reach"
And yes, i think it's a very rational argument. but then comes the ultimate defence by women. "but pocket don't look nice. nobody wants to wear a skirt or a low-cut pair of jeans if there were things in pockets around the waist area. It'll make me look fat" AH.. now that's the real problem.. women want to look nice and pretty and because of that, incidents of snatch thief increases.
Azmi continued "We need to admit this one point, that handbags are a vanity item for women. It's not strictly necessary for them to carry one around and, if they think they are at risk from thieves, then they should not carry them"
Of course, i think it would help to try and understand y do females want to look pretty right? it might be partly due to the societal pressure to look nice, or maybe it's just inborn (which i kinda doubt) or maybe they want to look nice to attract guys. And guys, you have to admit that you do want ladies to look nice.
So how? the solution came up by Azmi is that "ladies should forget the idea of being independant and accept that your vanity is a sign you are a lady. get a nice polite gentleman who is willing to escort you as you make your way about town on foot. And make sure he's fit enough for the job."

Dumb Bus Driver
Today was my first day of work.. don't 1 to stress about work here.. want to stress about the dumb bus driver.. :p
So it was after work and i took a bus home.. so went out of KLCC and then the bus just arrived.. yay!! so went up the bus and then ..... quite a horrible ride la.. the bus driver is really SOMETHING!!
He drive as if the road is his grandfather's 1. Literally!! he honk people out of the way like crazy.. and people honk him back like nuts.. then he squeeze his bus like shit.. bus drivers are known to be good squeezers and i am fine with it.. but this time, he is really overdoing it owhkie.. he went to the most left lane, and it is so close to the sidewalk that i can feel the bus leaning on one side
(FIY, roads are normally built a little bit tilt to one side so that when it rains, the water can slide down the drain).. that's how close the bus is.. at one moment, the bus even collided with the sidewalk .. =.=!!
oh oh.. i got to say this.. the bus does not stop even when the traffic light turns red.. crazy bus driver.. the traffic light is already yellow when the bus is still some distance away.. and he selamba only press the accelerator even when it's already red.. it's a cross road and a motor already came out of his lane (the other lane is on green light) and the bus DID NOT STOPPED!! the motor had to dodge the bus.. u say la.. scary or not?
the bus driver is a young Malay boy. sigh.. apa dah jadi dengan dunia ini? :p
just wanted to say some stuffs about that driver..
oh i think i have fallen quite deep this time *sigh*

Trouble sleeping
These few days i have trouble sleeping.. it have been quite a while since i have this problem, but it's getting worse now.. insomnia.. lol
don't know why y body seems like it doesn't want to sleep at night.. but when the sun is shining bright and high, it feels sleepy.. strange body of mine.. maybe my body works upsidedown.. because maybe my melatonin only goes low when the sun is up, which is not supposed to be.. :D
it's strange how my dad once told me how easy i can sleep.. yeah.. last time, whenever i put my head on the pillow, i kinda get knock out.. no matter how strong the rain or thunder outside, i won't be disturbed by it and sleep until the next morning
nowadays, it's the opposite, my dad sleeps, and i am still quite awake.. try to get some sleep, but a lot of thought flood my mind.. hopefully can sleep well like last time..
God Bless~

Abnormal Psych
These few days i have been reading quite a lot of abnormal psych.. due to exams mer... what to do.. ho ho.. After reading a whole lot, i came to realize something.. this realization might or might not be true.. it's just my opinion
Most, if not all, of so called 'abnormalities' or disorders are due to ENVIRONMENT. Let me elaborate a little bit y do i say so.. The life we are living now is very stressful if compared to older times.. these increase in stress is EXTREMELY important to trigger any genetic predisposition we have..
and because of this stressful environment, we strive for a better living, which more often than not, means looking for more money.. this leads to later marriages... i know this is a slippery slope argument, but looking at the age that people nowadays get married at and compare it to last time.. it's a BIG difference.. people last time, get married at about 20-ish.. nowadays, there are people who get married at what? 40? 60?
*side note* i don't know y some people like to marry so many wives and they have so many children like ... 18 children.. recent case of a guy who wants to marry a fouth wive, and the 3 other wives actually would pay for him.. don't they know how this would affect the children? lack of affection, siblings who are old enough to be their parents.. well.. maybe they really don't know..
if want to get married, marry early la.. marrying at a later age makes your child more vulnerable for abnormalities la.. like Down syndrome and others. i know... u might want to provide a better environment for your kids with a better financial stability, but what use is financial stability if your child is not healthy? but it's not the parent's fault.. it all goes back to the environment we live in.. without a good sum of money, it's kinda hard to raise kids.. so.. ENVIRONMENT again..
so what to do? seriously speaking? i also don't know.. i think what would be best is to live in moderation, which means need not so much money and don't marry too late.
God Bless~
