Pursuit of Happyness

I know.. I know.. I spelt happiness the wrong way... but it's on purpose ok..

today i watched The Pursuit of Happiness.. acted by Will Smith as Mr. Gadner.

Mr. Gadner's life is full of struggle. he had a wife, but then the wife left him because he is financial difficulties. REAL financial difficulties where he don't even have money to pay for his parking summons. he didn't even pay the taxes.. and so the government went into his bank account and just took his money... he can be said to be broke.

He also have a son.. so his son struggled with him.. he sent his son to pre-school and on the wall of the pre-school, is where the word HAPPYNESS is painted.

some of the phrases he said to his son caught my attention.. he said

DON'T LET ANYONE SAID YOU CANNOT DO SOMETHING.

IF YOU WANT SOMETHING, GO GET IT. PERIOD.

he then met a stock broker and then he aspire to be one.. he went for the interview.. but the day before his interview, he was caught by the police because he did not pay his parking ticket.. and right after that, he ran from the police station to the company...

still in his attire from last night because of the lack of time.. he went in, and the interviewer asked him

"if u were me, and u see a guy walking in here without proper dress, and u hire him... what would you tell the people?"

and he answered "He must have had a really nice pants."

good show..

today in church, my parish priest was about to leave and he was asked to give some words of wisdom. he said

You want to be healthy?
You want to be happy and be filled with joy?
Then keep the Word of God in your heart

SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL BE GIVEN UNTO YOU.

Sadly, i think i am not that good.. Hopefully i will be a better person..
