Generativity Vs Stagnation

Erik Erikson, a famous psychologist created a 8-stage of Psychosocial Development, which covers one's whole life span. The second last stage which is Generativity Vs Stagnation, usually happens when some one is about in their fifties. this is the time where they would want to transfer all their knowledge to the young ones. thus comes the word generativity, to generate more good youngsters.

recently, i feel sort of reaching this level.. haha.. although i am not old yet, but i do feel it because i am transfering my knowledge about serving to the young ones. for those who don't know, servers are those little kids helping the priest during the mass. I don't know whether other Christian dominations have it, but Catholics all over the world do have this ministry.

SO, back to my generativity, y do i feel this feeling? maybe my life span is not that long, and i am going to die soon?? ahahahahah... i don't know la.. but it kinds of feel good... when u know u are helping a few people to grow. when u transfer your knowledge, u know that u have done your bit in their lives. and that's how i feel.. i feel good..

Hopefully SFA's Altar Servers Ministry will be always good... hahaha..
