Meaning of Life

Ah.. it is always good to know and hear something that is thought provoking.. these words are like food feeding my mind and heart... and yes, my mind and heart is hungry for wisdom.. oh sophia :p

Whenever i hear something great, i would want to so much share it with people, and that is one of the main reason this blog of mine is established. today i went to church for a vigil prayer for students who are going to sit for their examination.. and some of the words that the priests said struck me

1) Life does not end when u reach your destination. Life is a journey from birth till death.

Normally, we set a goal for ourselves, for example, i would want to be a doctor, pilot, or a psychologist.. and when we get there, our life did not end. Life is a journey, and not a race to a destination.. that is why, even after reaching our life's destination, we still continue on living..
which brings us to the second point

2) Life is a journey. Slow down and ENJOY it~

Often a time, we find ourselves so busy in our work that we forget we are living. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy

3) You go to church, not to find Jesus. You find Jesus in your life's journey. And then you come to church and give Him thanks.

If you can't find Jesus in your life's journey, you are lost. A church is not a place to seek Jesus, rather it is a place of worship and giving Him thanks. Have u thought of it that way?

4) Future is not what that will become of you. It is what YOU make out of it. (Manikam, 2007)
