Today is my birthday.. and the best part of the day is that i heard so many lame jokes... serious stuffs.. Crystal, the 'LAME Queen' have so many lame jokes that sitting with her for half an hour can easily make u numb with lameness... hahaha..

Kah Meng, got some lame jokes too, but Crystal is the lamest la.. with the big fat L on her forehead.. hahaha.. during lunch today, some of the lame jokes are as follows:

Today i got slapped by Evie.. hahaha.. wait.. i kena slapping wor.. y still so happy 1??

we were sitting in level 2, KPD E, waiting eagerly for Nadri to finish his class.. so in the meantime, she and i was tying the presents for the orphanages.

when i was tying, suddenly... and i mean SUDDENLY.. *spanks*

she slapped me, just like that with no warning at all.. i was like 'huh???????? what have i done???'

and in front of us is a female whom we don't know.. and she was like looking at me, with the same expression on my face.. shocked..

i also looked at her, because i don't know how to react.. social referencing...hahaha

then i asked Evie, "y did u slapped me?"

her answer : oh sorry sorry... got mosquito.

me: =.=; ouched!!

oh by the way, the mosquito managed to flew away.. hahaha..

after that, for the rest of the day, i learned how to make a puppet using a socks, and then finish painting the banner.. YEAH!!

then evie belanja us dunkin doughnuts too.. YEAH!!

When i was in form 4, i went to Ipoh for my Confirmation camp. And during one of those days in the camp, the facilitator throw us a question..

he asked us to ponder on it and come up with an answer.. Well, maybe some of you who when seeing this question start to have a tune in your mind, which might probably sounds like this

WHAT DEFINES YOU?

Most of the people in this world go through their lives not knowing how to answer both of these questions. We wake up in the morning, go to work, come back, eat and sleep. Tomorrow, it will be the same routine all over again. Not realizing that we have fallen into the trap of chasing the wind.

Until we can really answer both of these question, we are still very much like a robot. Find your identities, and then you and i will know why we are here on earth

Jealousy and Contentment

Hurm.. let's see what sparks me to blog today.. My friend, who is in Kansas (i think) send me mail.. She always does it la.. to update me about her life over there..

She already sent me a few mails regarding her life over there.. and from her mail, it's like she is living her life to the fullest. Always having some crazy happening thing over there, having fun (in a good sense i hope) and her life is so interesting.. so much so that i began to sorta envied her..

Jealousy? maybe a bit la.. her life is like a... fairy tale, only that it doesn't end yet.. hahaha..
In her mail, she gave me a picture of what seems like an ideal world. Let me explain.. ideal world not as in always having fun, but ideal world as in people are always helping other people out regardless of nationality..

People from both end of the world can really support each other, and i was skeptical. Can humans really be that good? I mean, if there are one or 2 then it's fine la.. but from her mail, it's like her whole bunch of people there are kinda saints.. hahaha..

i wonder, if i was the one who is there, would i be like that? honestly speaking, i don't think so. it is her openness to absorb new things that amazes me. and how the people there are willing to help other people whom they have no idea about their background. but then again, thinking abit deeper, does background really matters when it comes to making friends and helping people out?

hurmm.. i want to experience what she experience, but.... i am still thankful about my life this very day.. Just this morning, i read an article in The Star and it was about how grateful we should be. Because our lives this very moment is so much better and more luxurious than what emperors of the past can ever imagine.

For example, for breakfast, a simple meal consisting of coffee, french toast and the daily newspaper. Coffee would come from urm.. i don't know.. Columbia? or South Africa? Somewhere la.. the peanut butter jam in the french toast would be produced at the factory, packaged to a very apetizing manner and sold to us at a portion that we would not deem too much nor too little. the bread would be be fresh and soft, easily found at any grocery shop. top with honey and a piece of butter. AH!!! fabulous.. with the newspaper, we can get the latest news not just locally, but also international news. how great is that??

oh well, u get my meaning don't u?? How many emperors in the past get that luxury? to know the news, they need to summon their personal newscaster. hahaha.. to get fresh fruit, the soldiers need to rush the fruit once plucked. Us? we have what we call a refrigerator to keep it fresh and with the airplane means to transport food, we get the best.

for transport, we can easily reach another state in maybe less than an hour? for them, they need erm.. days maybe?? we have air conditioner to keep us comfortable, TV to keep us entertained, phones to get us connected.. and of course.. Internet.. to read my blog la.. DUH!!

thinking about all these luxuries kinda diminished what i thought earlier in this blog

I woke up at 9 something, and i dreamt about something nice. I dreamt that i was carrying someone in my arms to this place where there are quite a number of people playing badminton. The journey to the badminton area was a sweet 1. hehe..Mun kiat and foo was there. Chak was there too.. haha.. for the rest, don't really remember much, some i know, some i don't. It was a good sleep because i woke up refreshed. Drolled quite a lot, good sleep. have not been getting enough rest lately.. hahaha

woke up, wash face, had breakfast, played game and bathed. Out to MidValley to meet Micky for one last time before she flies to India. Going to be a black girl there.. XD

Reached there at around 11.30. Met with Kai Yuan, (he is always the first to be there) and as usual, Micky is late. So went kai kai while waiting for them and then they came. Brought me to see 3 of their other friends whom i don't know. But it seems that they seen me before. o.O

what to do? i quite famous in HMC rite?? But i really don't know who they are.. lol.. i don't even know their name after today.. Met up with them then go eat lunch.. where did we ate?

we went to the FISHMARKET in MANHATTAN

Erm, it was quite a nice time there la.. the food is as usual, good lor.. they were talking among themselves and i was always listening. haha.. what to do? different 'click' mer.. Took some photos there, but haven't gotten the photos yet.. will put it up once i got them.. hehe

Then after lunch, went to play bowling.. haih.. memalukan myself only.. my first game i only scored 40 marks, and micky got 114. o.O didn't knew they can bowl quite well..

but they have the strangest bowling technique ever man... Serious stuff.. they way they bowl is very very extraordinary, and they even try a few very very very humiliating stuffs.. great laugh.. hahaha

then took a few more photos and I am back.

All in all, not a bad day la.. haha.. took photos and i am satisfied.. hope to get the photos soon

Simple Mindedness

today i thought of something.. simple minded people are people who live happily right? complex minded people are people who are exposed to many things.

And EDUCATION is one BIG exposure. So education actually leads to a complicated thought. Therefore, study leads to an unfulfilling complicated life.

People who are stupid, do they live happily? i think so, because they are not exposed to the many other things that they lack. they are stupid remember? they don't know lots of things. Thus they are sufficient with what they have. Rick rich people knows what is out there and continue taking from the none.

So in the end, who is stupid? stupid people who are satisfied? of rich people who aren't satisfied?

Bravo to stupid people for living a simple life with simple thinking.

Professionalism

Today i watched a show.. named "Just follow Law". i think the title is that la.. haha.. it's a singaporean movie, directed by Jack Neo starring Gurmit Singh (a.k.a Phua Chu Kang).

it's a really good show and as usual, something struck me..

the leading male character and leading female character somewhow exchanged souls. So the female's soul is now in a male's body and vice versa.

So they went to find doctor, doctor don't believe them

They see psychologist, they don't believe them

Finally, they turn to religious people. They went to a chinese temple and a ritual was performed on them.. but it failed la..

So after the ritual, the person who performed the ritual said to them

"wah, your case very bad. my powers not enough to heal. need the help of someone with higher power. i know this person la. i can introduce to you. 5000 only"

then one of the two replied "got guarantee or not?"

then he answered "guarantee? u see doctor got guarantee? must pay also no matter u heal or not. u hire lawyer, whether or not u are being judged guilty, u still need to pay money. I am a PROFESSIONAL."

he continued

"What does professional means? Professional means that i work hard, no guarantee and still get paid for it."

those words made me wonder... people in the society with so called professional qualifications, aren't they exactly like what was described? Seriously, they get paid, whether or not the problem is solved. Of course they do try la. but how hard?

With many reports on half past six doctors, i am truly worried about the present and the future. but oh well, that's life la. Life doesn't go according to what we want. Life are full of troubles and life is unfair.
